How the app and website use data
For newberrybible.com and the NoteMaker Bible app for iPad: what is collected, what it is used for, and whether it is linked to you. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Not used to track you
Nothing is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. There is no advertising, no analytics and no data broker, and nothing is sold or shared.
Linked to your account
Only if you create an account, and only to make the app and website work for you:
| What | Which | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Contact information | Your name and email address | Your account: signing in, confirming your email, resetting your password, replying to you |
| Your notes | Handwriting, highlights, typed notes, bookmarks, margin headings and references, Study Notes, Memory Verses | Keeping your notes safe and showing them on your devices and the website |
| Photos | Only pictures you choose to add to a page | Showing them beside your notes on your devices and the website |
| An account number | The number your account is given | Keeping your notes together with your account |
| Purchases | Whether your app subscription is current (from Apple) | Letting the app work while it is; we never see payment details |
Not collected
No location, contacts, browsing history, search history, health, financial or payment information, and no usage data, analytics or diagnostics. The app reads no other information on your iPad.
Kept on your iPad only
Without an account, everything you write in the app stays on your iPad (and in its daily backups, on the iPad and, if you choose, in your own iCloud Drive). We receive none of it.
Deleting it
You can delete your account and everything kept in it at any time, yourself: see how to delete your account. Questions: contact us.
